March 02, 2017 Midwest adventure (Chicago, IL)

On this day I had flown for the first time in my life ever out of state and into a completely new environment. My flight was a overnight flight that had landed abruptly around maybe 5 or 6am. When I had landed in Chicago the weather was much more colder than I'm used to and also there was snow. It doesn't snow much in California or at least where I am from. My friend Jordan and Brennan had picked me up from the airport and immediately the adventure had started. Our first stop was at an old synagogue that had been abandoned for many years. This was seriously the most amazing church I had seen because in California you dont ever get to see churches like these.

Onward we later got to take photos of other churches and different locations. We actually got to shoot a lot more than I had anticipated, I did not expect to be able go to so many different places in one day. Some spots that were unique to me were a bowling alley and a bank vault. The bowling alley was wide open with the roof caving in on it. Everything was still intact though with bowling pins and balls. I was really enjoying being in a whole different state, I’ve never had been to Illinois in my life the scenery was really different compared to California. It’s quite amazing how much abandoned buildings are in this State. After it hit a few hours after sunset we decided to take some city shots and get some rest to wake up early for our next day.
